Early Bird Ride to MIngo Falls NC

Meet at SMH-D at 7:30 ready to ride. Jim Walker will be leading the Early Bird Ride will be travelling to Mingo Falls in Cherokee NC. The ride will be approximately 150 miles round trip and is rated as a 3 to 3.5 Dragon Ride. To view the falls will require climbing steps along the trail. Mingo Falls is on the Cherokee Indian Reservation just outside Great Smoky Mountains National Park. At 120 feet tall, the waterfall is one of the tallest and most spectacular in the southern Appalachians. The ride will be approximately 5.5 hours in duration including stops.
