http://www.utmedicalcenter.org/THEMANRIDE. Registration beginning at 9 a.m. Kickstands up at 11 a.m. rain or shine at the Smoky Mountain Harley-Davidson in Maryville, TN. Pre-registering by August 7 guarantees riders a commemorative THE MAN RIDE t-shirt, lunch and admission to the concert that evening performed by SwampDaWamp at The Shed, the entertainment venue at Smoky Mountain Harley-Davidson. Pre-registration cost is $25 for a single rider and $40 per pair. An upgrade option is available to be a “Platinum Rider” in the event, open to 25 riders, which additionally includes riding up front near Coach Fulmer, a photo with the coach and a special recognition t-shirt. Platinum level pre-registration cost is $50 for a single rider and $60 per pair.
In conjunction with the ride, Smoky Mountain Harley-Davidson and the UT Medical Center Cancer Institute are sponsoring a free prostate cancer screening event for men the following Saturday, Aug. 21, from 12 Noon – 4 p.m. at Smoky Mountain Harley-Davidson. Registration is required for the free screenings by calling 865.305.6970.
August 13-15, 2010: Road Rash Biker Bash - South Pittsburg, TN
This is an annual adults-only (21 and up) old-school biker party on Martin Farm (8700 Battlecreek Rd., South Pittsburg, TN 37380) representing Road Rash Magazine’s 9th anniversary. A ton of great live bands, primitive camping along Battle Creek, free hot showers, awesome vendors, motorcycle rodeo games, wet t-shirt, pickle sucking, burn-out contest. Everything you’d expect at a rally and much more. Admission is just $30 in advance or $40 at the gate– no extra charges. Bring your own food and drinks or purchase them on site. The nearest store
(drinks, ice, tobacco, gas, etc.) is a one-mile ride down a country two-lane road. Civilization (hotels, restaurants, WalMart, etc.)is an eight mile ride down a two-lane or 10 miles down the freeway. Properly-operated four-wheelers, golf carts, scooters, etc. are allowed and welcome! Very few rules: Must be 21 (with ID), no glass containers, no 4-legged pets, no weapons, drugs, fireworks, attitudes, whiners or drama. OUTLIVE Motorcycle Ride Registration: $55.00/ Motorcycle & $15.00/Additional Rider. Brunch with Coach Bruce and Brandy Pearl: $105 per person (this includes registration fee for the motorcycle ride- additional cost for additional rider). Special Designated area for those that would like to participate in an intimate gathering with Coach Bruce and Brandy Pearl. With your registration fee, you will receive an OUTLIVE Motorcycle Ride t-shirt, an OUTLIVE Wristband which gets you free admission into The Shed concert on August 28 (band TBD, but it’s gonna’ be a big one… stay tuned!), and a meal following the ride. Location: 3435 Hwy. 411 N, Englewood, TN. This is to benefit Ms. Jody Shadden. She was shot in early 2009 and is now quadriplegic. The proceeds go toward her continuing medical care. Come party down in the bottoms. Live music, vendors and games. Free parking, camping and showers. The entrance fee is $30 per person at the gate. $20 advance tickets are now available. $15 one day passes. You MUST be 21 or older to enter. There will be FREE CAMPING, FREE HOT SHOWERS, FREE PARKING, AND NO SUPPORT VEHICLE FEE!! We DO NOT allow ATV's or golf carts, this IS A BIKE RALLY!
