Keith Richards said humor was rock and roll’s greatest weapon, Bob Dylan proved it and Snider takes it to heart. For twelve years, Snider has been a satirist, class cutup and the rare artist who understands and celebrates the connections between the Stones, Dylan, Bill Hicks, John Prine, Mitch Hedberg, Kris Kristofferson, Hunter S. Thompson and Randy Newman. Snider’s records are fun even when they aren’t being funny, funny even when they’re sad, and no less truthful for the laughs.

Price: $10 per person at the gate. All ticket monies will go to Save Chilhowee Mountain organization.

Save Chilhowee Mountain, Inc., is a not-for-profit organization that grew, and is still growing, out of a spontaneous protest that erupted when the public first got word of a developer's plan to build an 80 unit subdivision on the east side of Chilhowee Mountain, the side that faces the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, in Blount County, Tennessee. The sub-division is being carved into a steep mountainside in the Abrams Creek Watershed --- the only watershed containing private property draining directly into the National Park. Abrams Creek, the home of several endangered species is vulnerable, and the scars of bulldozing dozens of acres of mountainside are scars visible from the Foothills Parkway and the center of the National Park.Save Chilhowee's mission is to preserve the natural habitat, beauty, and diversity of the Chilhowee Mountain area for the enjoyment of all.

Change is inevitable, however, change must be tempered by sensitivity to our surrounding, the natural beauty of our mountains, the quality of our water, and the quality of life for all citizens. We seek to bring together people and groups who share a vision of education and promotion of diverse, high quality, and sustainable solutions regarding growth in our region. Help us map out a future for us and our neighbors that will insure the natural attractiveness and beauty of our region for generations to come.

This high-energy Nashville duo shovels out their unique sound by grindin' up the best parts of country, southern rock, and good ole fashioned Rock & Roll; often drawing comparisons to Big and Rich, Montgomery Gentry, Jason Aldean and Little Big Town. In 2007 alone - the Boys have opened up for Big and Rich, Jewel, Billy Currington, Keith Anderson and Jon Bon Jovi; were Gibson Guitar’s featured artist during the CMA Music Festival in Nashville; featured on the evening and morning newscasts on Nashville’s ABC affiliate WKRN - “News 2;” and featured artists on Billy Block’s Western Beat radio show in April and August this year. PURCHASE HERE

$20 Regular; $15 Motorcycle Ride Up Rate

Those of us who grew up understanding there was no difference (that mattered) in the music of Elvis, Ray Charles, Slim Harpo and Johnny Cash knew immediately upon hearing John Hiatt’s first numbers 31 years ago that he was a kindred spirit. That’s not to say only the rock and roll generation can appreciate Hiatt’s cleverness, idiomatic versatility, distinctive gruff and endearing voice, or slashing guitar skills. But when everyone from Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, Rodney Crowell and Willie Nelson to Buddy Guy, Flaco Jimenez and Ry Cooder have covered his tunes, it’s quite clear that those who appreciate great songwriting and savor a keen wit, narrative flair and refusal to pen a sloppy or sappy line, eagerly embrace John Hiatt’s tunes.

    PURCHASE HERE

$13 Regular; $8 Motorcycle Ride Up Rate

Gauthier has always been a unique lyricist, with an ability to illuminate even moments of devastation and despair in beautiful hues. That gift is evident throughout Between Daylight and Dark, her latest album, though her perspective has shifted somewhat. “As a writer, I’m figuring out what my job is today, in this instant,” she explains, “What I did yesterday does not matter. I am more in the moment. I know instinctively when I’m onto something, and then I have to chase that feeling down until I find what it is I need to say in the song. My songwriting changes as I change, and though it’s odd to admit it, I discover a lot about who I am in my songwriting. I can see how I’ve changed by looking back at how my songs have changed. The songs on this record are a little more fragile, a little more tender, and a lot more hopeful.”
